Level 2 Certificate in Barbering
This course is 1 evening a week for 12 weeks and is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career in barbering. If you have completed our Level 1 barbering courses or have previous barbering or hairdressing experience this course will give you an internationally recognised qualification in barbering . At our Barber School students have gained employment as a junior barber directly after completing this course along with the Level 1 barbering course combined with the Level 2 Certificate course .
Students will be assessed on 4 separate modules and will produce a portfolio of their work consisting of
Client Consultation
Cutting Hair ,
Facial Hair ,
and Health & Safety ,
The Course consists of practical assignments, exams and 8 practical assessments .
Overview
The VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Barbering qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 years and over and includes the units to prepare you to work effectively as a Junior Barber.
This qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with men on the type of haircut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. You will also learn how to work in a safe manner throughout the service protecting both yourself and your clients. deliver exceptional results.

Frank Hackett will be your educator for this course . A 3rd generation barber with over 20 years experience and many industry awards to his name . Frank is also the Barbering Educator for Keune Ireland and has represented Ireland at the world and European Championships picking up 3 awards .
Frank Hackett will do weekly live demonstrations throughout the course to give you the opportunity to ask questions and learn from one of Ireland’s leading educators .
